Really, really good bowl.
We have a Bernese Mountain dog who has suffered with GDV in the past and we do everything to prevent it happening again.
He has has slow feeder bowls for years but they were plastic type. He’s so desperate to stuff his face he had scraped the old bowls and I was fed up of replacing them.
I saw this bowl and ordered it, my husband took one look and said ‘that won’t slow him down’
Ha! How wrong he was! This bowl really does work and our boy takes longer to finish dinner than he ever has before.

The bowl feels really substantial and the bottom does seem to be a little bit non slip – but then nothing will stop 50kg trying to shove their face at it.

My only small negative is that you need to hold the bowl with two hands, there’s no easy way to hold it in one hand. We hold the dog bowls at a good height for the dogs to stop gulping air when eating. I can’t easily hold this bowl and one for the Newfoundland at the same time.
But that’s my personal choice – not enough to drop a star.

Great slow feeder than I expected. It’s for my miniature Pinscher, she went from 40 seconds to almost 3 minutes and she’s much calmer. 

This dish is VERY solid and well made, we’ve bought plenty of dishes, plastic or stainless steel, and this is probably the best one. Just buy it!

So far our dramatic husky hasn’t been able to tip it over, even though he tries very hard to push it around just like he does to other bowls! Good metal, well made, and worth the money.

Slow down my Bulldog
This is a quality dog bowl, the slow feed paw pattern is functional and truly well made. It has a nice touch and is easy to clean. I ordered it because my Bulldog was using a plastic one which was becoming hard to keep clean, and he would toss it around after he finished eating. He can still move this one but it is much heavier, so he mostly gives up now!

It’s actually really fun picking out a set from all these, I had a blast choosing mine because I really want it to fits my dog’s bed and the feeding station. It turns out great but it’s a shame I couldn’t post any image here.

They are the​ perfect size, deep enough​ and easy to clean. I am happy with my purchase and so is our pup. Highly recommend!

It’s so heavy and stable, finally something my dogs can’t flip or send flying across the room. Also quite large though, if you are a dishwasher person, you’ll want to double check the dimensions before ordering it. This rubber hook seems unnecessary for my setup but the bowl itself is absolutely 5 stars.
